OCBC, one of Singapore’s largest and most trusted banks, engaged us to design its first digital marketplace—a responsive, user-centric platform that connects customers to curated financial and lifestyle products. With over 80% market share in the Child Development Account (CDA) segment, OCBC holds a strong position among young families. To build on this advantage, the bank sought to deliver a tailored digital experience that leverages data analytics to better serve expectant and new mothers.
The project centred on building a cohesive UX layer within the broader OCBC digital ecosystem, positioning the Marketplace as a value-added touchpoint beyond core banking.
OCBC Marketplace aims to meet customers at the intersection of lifestyle and financial decision-making. From insurance packages to renovation services, the platform integrates partner offerings into a seamless digital catalogue. Our role was to refine the user experience across merchant listings, deal discovery, and lead capture—creating a cohesive and user-friendly interface that complements OCBC’s brand and digital standards.
We developed reusable components for listing layouts, banners, CTA modules, and partner flows. The design system allows OCBC to scale the platform efficiently—whether launching a short-term promotion or onboarding a new partner category. Attention was given to mobile responsiveness, clarity of offer details, and smooth transitions from exploration to enquiry.
Marketplace experiences must balance promotional appeal with clear, trustworthy information. We designed flows that guide users from discovery to contact, with intuitive content structures and concise copy. Visual consistency across campaigns helps build confidence, while UI flexibility ensures relevance across diverse merchant types—from education to home services.
OCBC Marketplace extends the bank’s relationship with its customers into the everyday. Through thoughtful UI/UX, the platform enhances customer engagement while supporting business units with a scalable, conversion-focused front end. As the platform evolves, it continues to act as a strategic channel for partner visibility and customer retention.
