Web revamp
Voilaah worked with the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) to transform a complex website of government schemes into a streamlined, user-friendly digital platform. The initiative focused on making policy-driven content more accessible to businesses and individuals navigating support measures. Designed for clarity, usability, and searchability, the portal is now a practical gateway to economic opportunities.
The portal needed to serve a diverse audience — from SMEs and startups to students and corporations — all seeking tailored support. Our approach began with mapping real-life use cases and identifying friction points in how users typically access government programmes. From there, we designed user flows that support task-oriented exploration while helping visitors understand what schemes apply to their needs.
To address information overload, we structured the interface around an intuitive search and filter system that helps users quickly locate relevant schemes based on business stage, sector, or policy type. Scheme pages were standardised for clarity, featuring eligibility criteria, application steps, and contact pathways in a consistent, mobile-friendly layout.
We implemented a modular design system that allows internal teams to easily update and manage content without compromising UX integrity. Built on scalable UI components, the platform supports policy changes, programme lifecycle updates, and inter-agency content contributions, all within a unified framework.
More than just a content portal, the redesigned platform empowers users to engage with national policies in a meaningful way. It bridges the gap between government intention and citizen access — turning public information into practical opportunity through thoughtful design.
